Time-honoured friendship between Vietnam and China

On January 18, 1950, China became the first country in the world to establish diplomatic relations with the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam), marking a significant milestone in the longstanding ties between the two nations. Over the past 75 years, Vietnam–China relations have been continuously expanded and deepened across all fields.
