Top architects, property developers receive awards

BCI Asia gave away the BCI Asia Top 10 Awards for Vietnamese architectural firms and property developers at a ceremony in HCM City on May 22.

The portfolios of the architecture firms contain 3.45billion USD worth of properties construction of which is scheduled tostart this year, while the portfolios of the top developers were worthclose to 1 billion USD.

The BCI Asia Top 10 Developers Award for2015 were given to BIM Group, Dat Xanh Real Estate Service andConstruction Joint Stock Company, Him Lam Corporation, Hung Thinh RealEstate Business Investment Corporation, Keppel Land Vietnam, NovalandInvestment Group Corporation, Phu My Hung Development Corporation, ThaoDien Investment Joint Stock Company, Van Phu Invest Joint Stock Company,and Vingroup Joint Stock Company.

The BCI Asia Awards areannually given to companies in seven Asian jurisdictions — Hong Kong(China), Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, andVietnam.

They are aimed at encouraging socially-responsiblearchitecture and serve as a platform for domestic and internationalnetworking by elite architecture firms, property developers,manufacturers, and service providers.-VNA

Nearly 200 technology firms join HUTECH Job Fair 2026

Vietnam, Japan strengthen cooperation in leadership training

Stressing that Vietnam is entering a new stage of development with increasingly high demands on the quality of human resources, particularly strategic-level leaders and managers, Politburo member and Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (HCMA) Assoc. Vietnam Fisheries Society protests China’s unilateral fishing ban in East Sea

The society stressed that the ban is unilateral and unjustified; seriously infringes upon Vietnam’s sovereignty, rights and legitimate interests; violates international law, including the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS); and runs counter to the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the East Sea (DOC).

Child rights association puts online safety at forefront

Hanoi accelerates seven Red River bridge projects, many exceed 70% completion

ccording to the municipal Transport Construction Investment Project Management Board, the city is simultaneously implementing seven projects, namely Tu Lien, Ngoc Hoi, Tran Hung Dao, Thuong Cat, Van Phuc, Hong Ha and Me So bridges. Construction is being carried out on multiple fronts, focusing on bored piles, pile caps, piers and superstructure works.
