State President Luong Cuong and his spouse, along with representatives from ministries, agencies and the Hanoi authorities, and 100 overseas Vietnamese (OVs), held an incense-offering ceremony at the statue of King Ly Thai To and Ngoc Son Temple in downtown Hanoi in the morning of February 8 (the 20th day of the final lunar month of the Year of the Snake).

Participants listened to an important address by Party General Secretary To Lam, who outlined orientations, tasks and requirements for the Resolution implementation to turn it into action, action into results, and results into tangible improvements in people’s lives.

Luong Tam Quang said that amid increasingly complex domestic and international challenges to national construction and defence, the 14th Congress for the first time formally established the concept of comprehensive security, giving security an important role across all areas of national development.
