Hanoi (VNA) - The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism has launched the country’s official tourism portal, www.vietnam.travel, to deliver comprehensive information and inspiration for foreign travellers.

The new website with technical support from the Tourism Advisory Board will utilise the latest digital marketing strategies to share the country’s tourism assets with global audiences.

Through a collection of engaging stories, interviews, videos, virtual tours and professional photography, the website aims to entice users to explore Vietnam as a vibrant and accessible holiday destination.

Also hosted on the new domain are practical articles featuring reliable advice on everything from visa application to Vietnamese festivals to support travellers in holiday planning.

Official Administration of Tourism Facebook and Instagram pages are connected to the site as platforms for travellers to learn more about the country and share experiences from their trips.

Some highlights which users can encounter on the website are tours of top UNESCO Heritage Sites, detailed pages on Vietnamese destinations and a downloadable “Vietnam Starter Kit” for first-time travellers.-VNA
