Hanoi (VNA) – Members of the Vietnam GeneralConfederation of Labour (VGCL) and workers can enjoy big sales promotions whenshopping online for Lunar New Year (Tet) celebration at a Tet market especially opened for them on the e-commerce platforms of Shopee and Tiki from January 15to February 7.

The VGCL coordinated with the e-commerce platforms and HD SAISON FinanceCo., Ltd to organise the Tet market that aims to help ensure a happy Tet fortrade union members and workers.

The programme is also expected to help consumers to accessproducts made by domestic enterprises conveniently at reasonable prices. 

Particularly, 201,000 trade union members in disadvantaged situations or with outstanding performance will be presented with a HD SAISON iCard worth300,000 VND (USD12.24) each issued by the HD SAISON Finance Co., Ltd to buy goods in the online Tet market./.

Phu Tho: 200kg bomb safely relocated, detonated

According to a report by the Phu Tho Military Command, local residents spotted the bomb on August 31 in the Da River after the river water receded, exposing it beneath mud and soil on the riverbed. The bomb remained intact, including its fuse, and was located about 300m from a residential area.

Shift to data-driven administrative procedures needs acceleration

Under a draft decree replacing Decree 63, authorities will have to proactively pull information from databases and records for informational or technical procedures.
