Trans-border drug ring via postal services smashed

Competent forces have seized two men and 20,000 meth pills involved in a drug trafficking ring from Germany to Vietnam’s northern province of Nam Dinh using postal services, the provincial police said on September 23.

Nam Dinh (VNA) – Competent forces haveseized two men and 20,000 meth pills involved in a drug trafficking ring fromGermany to Vietnam’s northern province of Nam Dinh using postal services, theprovincial police said on September 23.

36-year-old Le Minh Hung residing in Nam Dinh city wasarrested at a local post office where he got a post box sent from Germanycontaining 20,000 meth pills concealed inside cans of power milk.

To clarify the case, Nam Dinh’s police then arrestedGiang Hung Hung, 34, also residing in Nam Dinh city.

Searching the two men’s houses, they detected manyrelevant documents and objects.

The case is under further investigation./.
