Nam Dinh (VNA) – Competent forces have seized two men and 20,000 meth pills involved in a drug trafficking ring from Germany to Vietnam’s northern province of Nam Dinh using postal services, the provincial police said on September 23.
36-year-old Le Minh Hung residing in Nam Dinh city was arrested at a local post office where he got a post box sent from Germany containing 20,000 meth pills concealed inside cans of power milk.
To clarify the case, Nam Dinh’s police then arrested Giang Hung Hung, 34, also residing in Nam Dinh city.
Searching the two men’s houses, they detected many relevant documents and objects.
The case is under further investigation./.
