In addition, the low-cost carrier will launch other domestic flights such as the ones between Da Nang and Thanh Hoa, Can Tho and Thanh Hoa, Hai Phong and Da Nang, and Can Tho and Da Nang.

“Everything is going well. We hope that the aforesaid flights could be opened before the end of this year,” Luu Duc Khanh, CEO of VietJetAir, was quoted as saying at a function to sign a cooperation agreement with the HCM City Tourism Association on July 17.

On the other hand, the carrier pledges to lower airfares by at least 49 percent for 20 travel firms under the association, which aims to support them to offer promotional tours for travelers.

Remarkably, there are occasions that airfares will be slashed by up to 90 percent to help travel agencies lower prices of tour packages in line with the tourism stimulus campaign.
