Hanoi (VNA) – National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines and Garuda Indonesia have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding on enhanced collaboration for the expansion of their strategic partnership.

The MoU lays the groundwork of a strategic alliance that will improve passenger and cargo transportation services between the two countries.

They committed to carrying out joint marketing campaigns to boost brand recognition and forging cooperation in codeshare and other support services such as aircraft leasing, ground services, technical maintenance and cargo services.

The collaboration aims at delivering better experience to passengers, meeting the growing transportation demand between the two countries, and promoting the aviation industry’s sustainable development.
