Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,240 VND/USD on October 22, up 12 VND from the previous day.
At major commercial banks, the opening hour rates saw remarkable increases.
At 8:39am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 25,085 VND/USD and the selling rate at 25,445 VND/USD, both up 95 VND from October 21.
BIDV also raised both rates by 125 VND, posting the buying rate at 25,085 VND/USD and the selling rate at 25,445 VND/USD./.
