Hanoi (VNA) – National flagcarrier Vietnam Airlines will gradually increase flights from/to the centralcity of Da Nang as COVID-19 outbreaks have been brought under control nationwide,said a representative of the airline.
Between now and September 15, the airlinewill run two round trips from Hanoi and three others from Ho Chi Minh City toDa Nang. From September 15 to the end of this month, the respective numberswill be raised to four and five.
Along with another by its joint venture Pacific Airlines, the carrier is set tooperate 10 trips per day to the city.
Flight schedule may be adjusted based on situations and development of thepandemic, it warned.
Social distancing and preventive measureswill be applied during the flights per order of the Ministry of Transport tocurb the spread of COVID-19.
