Vietnam Airlines to receive new planes this month

Hanoi (VNA) – National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines will receive new Airbus A320neo and Boeing 787-10 planes in July, the airline has announced.

The move aims to help the airline better meet passengers’ increasing demand during the peak summer travel season.

In addition, it offers promotions to passengers who choose flights which depart in early morning or late night.

According to Vietnam Airlines, the occupancy rate of its flights during the time frame from 9 pm to 5 am in May and June to key tourist destinations such as Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Da Lat, Quy Nhon, and Phu Quoc reached 75% - 94%.

The airline has been cooperating with localities and partners nationwide since the middle of June to provide combined aviation - tourism products with attractive prices to stimulate domestic tourism demand.

For example, Vietnam Airlines and Vinpearl have launched a series of air ticket and hotel room discounts of up to 50% for customers on flights departing from 9 pm to 5 am to destinations where Vinpearl hotels are available./.
