Culture and Tourism have agreed to work closer together over the period
2012-2015.
An agreement to this effect was signed by VTV General Director Tran Binh Minh and Lao Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Bosengkham Vongdala in Vientiane on Feb. 8.
Under the agreement, both parties will step up the exchange of information and the production of TV programmes, cooperate further in personnel training, and cover big international events held in Laos .
VTV will continue with its project to include sub-titles in the Lao language, train staff for Laos ’ TV network, help to maintain transmitters and assist the Lao National Television during the coverage of the 9 th Asia-Europe Summit in Laos later this year.
VTV’s General Director is in Laos from Feb. 8-10./.
