As many as 30 Vietnamese tourism companies are showcasing their products and services at the 48 th International Tourism Fair (ITB) , which opened on March 5 at the International Congress Centre (ICC) in Berlin, Germany.
The largest annual tourism fair in the world attracted 10,147 exhibitors from 189 countries across the world.
ICC Director Christian Goke said the fair reflects the development of the global tourism industry, adding that it provides a good chance for tourism firms to promote their products more widely.
He noted the five-day fair also serves as a platform for exhibitors to find out about latest trends, innovations and information related to the field, thus discovering how to reach new markets.
According to the event’s organisers, almost 75 percent of travel firms participating the event are from Europe, while those from Australia, Asia and Oceania makes up over 13 percent and the remainders are from Africa and the Middle East.-VNA
