Vietnam attends Carnival Blois in France

About 100 Vietnamese students and Overseas Vietnamese in Tours and Blois have joined Carnival Blois 2012 in France, to introduce Vietnamese culture to international friends.
About 100 Vietnamese students and Overseas Vietnamese in Tours and Blois have joined Carnival Blois 2012 in France, to introduce Vietnamese culture to international friends.

With the theme of “Vietnam Spring”, the Vietnamese participants performed dragon dances popular during tradition Tet festival in Vietnam , helping international friends, including French citizens, to feel Vietnam ’s spring atmosphere and experience a traditional Tet atmosphere.

Held in spring, the Carnival Blois 2012 is a major event of Blois city, about 250 km south of Paris , promoting the city’s tourism and attracting tourists.

This year’s festival also drew the participation of art troupes from around France .-VNA
