Vietnam, Cambodia cooperate in education and training

In terms of human resources training, in 2012, Vietnam will receive 120 Cambodian students and post-graduates who take courses in science and technology, Vietnamese language and other fields while Cambodia will admit 15 Vietnamese students to have regular lessons at Cambodia ’s universities. It will also receive 20 Vietnamese officials to learn Khmer language over a two year period. Beside scholarship programmes, the two sides will hold delegation exchanges.

Acknowledging the effective support from the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training (MoET) in the past, Minister Im Sethy said he hopes the two countries’ educational cooperations grow closer and develop more, especially in technical education.

Minister Luan affirmed the MoET’s determination to strengthen wider and deeper ties with the Cambodian Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of Cambodia.

Vietnam will continue boosting cooperation in human resources training,especially in border areas, exchanging experiences in vocationaltraining and supporting each other in infrastructure, he added.

Earlier, the two ministers held talks and discussions on educational cooperation between the two countries, as well as bringing out methods to further strengthen the two ministries’ relationship.-VNA

Deputy PM asks for highest education quality, safety for students

Regarding the construction of inter-level boarding schools in border communes, all 108 schools under Phase 1 opened for the 2026-2027 academic year, with 40 having completed all construction items. Vietnam has built a relatively comprehensive legal and policy framework to underpin the sector, including the Labour Code, the Law on Gender Equality, the Law on Social Insurance, the Law on Population and the National Strategy on Gender Equality for 2021-2030. Sea turtle nests on Lam Dong's Hon Cau island for sixth time this year

Since the beginning of 2026, sea turtles have nested six times at three beaches on Hon Cau island, namely Nhat, Mui Tau and Ba Hon. Three nests were left undisturbed at safe locations, while another three were relocated to the incubation area for protection, involving a total of 246 eggs.

Agencies largely kept the receipt, processing and return of administrative results running continuously, openly and transparently, with citizens and firms at the centre of public service delivery. They also kept upgrading, linking and using the databases serving administrative processing, carried out tasks under the 100-day Action Plan for the Politburo's Resolution 57-NQ/TW, and rolled out new initiatives and models to lift service quality.
