Hanoi (VNA) – The Chinese Party and State treasure friendship ties with Vietnamand want to boost practical exchanges and cooperation in various sectors withthe country, said Yu Zhengsheng, Chairman of the Chinese People’s PoliticalConsultative Conference (CPPCC).

Yu made theremark during a reception in Beijing on September 26 for a delegation of the VietnamFatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee led by its Vice President Truong ThiNgoc Anh who have been on a working visit to China from September 22 to 27.

The official highlightedthe cooperation between the CPPCC and the VFF in the recent past and briefedthe Vietnamese guests on China’s development situation, including preparationsfor the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.

For her part, Anhlauded the effective collaboration between the two bodies and suggested thesides increase delegation exchanges, engage in personnel training cooperation,and promote the friendship between the Vietnamese and Chinese people.

The same day,the Vietnamese delegation held talks with a CPPCC delegation led by deputychairman Ma Biao.

The two sidesinformed each other on their respective performances in organising forums thathelped the public and experts to engage in political affairs and in assistingeffective implementation of policies by the two parties and governments.

The discussionsalso focused on measures to boost cooperation between the two agencies at bothcentral and local levels in the future.-VNA
