Vietnam, China share experience in Party building

The Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) and the Communist Party of China (CPC) have exchanged experience in Party building work in the context of international integration.

Hanoi (VNA) – The Communist Party of Vietnam(CPV) and the Communist Party of China (CPC) exchanged experience in Partybuilding work in the context of international integration during the 12ththeoretical seminar which opened in Hanoi on December 23. 

In his opening speech, Pham Minh Chinh,Politburo member, Secretary of the CPV Central Committee and head of the PartyCentral Committee’s Organisation Commission, briefed participants on the CPV’sviewpoint on international integration, and opportunities for and challengesfacing Vietnam’s Party building work in the process. 

He presented in-depth analysis of the CPV’s experience,policies and measures to strengthen the Party, counter the degradation inpolitical ideology, morality and lifestyle along with the signs of“self-evolution” and “self-transformation” within the party, and enhancethe Party's leadership and combat capacity while solidifying the close bondsbetween the Party and the people. 

 Meanwhile, Liu Qi Bao, member of thePolitical Bureau and Secretary of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committeeand Head of the CPC Central Committee's Publicity Department, spoke about theCPC’s viewpoint and experience in improving the governing capacity of the Partyand preventing corruption. 

During discussions, participants focused onanalysing challenges and outstanding problems along with solutionsregarding strengthening the Party and improving the efficiency of anti-corruptionwork. 

Earlier the same day, Pham Minh Chinh hosted areception for Liu Qi Bao.

The two sides appreciated cooperation betweenthe CPV and the CPC in recent time.

They also agreed to continue high-levelmeetings, thus promoting connection between the two Parties’ agencies andbettering the efficiency of the exchange of theory and practical experience inbuilding the Party and training Party officials between the two parties in thecoming time.-VNA
