Vietnam, China to deepen bilateral ties

As neighbors, Vietnam wants that its friendship and cooperation withChina will go from strength to strength, the Hanoi official said.

In return, Ambassador Hong praised the successes of Hanoi and Vietnam in recent years.

He noted that China has always attached importance to theneighbouring, friendly, and cooperative relations with Vietnam.

That viewpoint is strengthened by the fresh phone talks between PartyGeneral Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and Chinese Party General Secretaryand President Xi Jinping, he said.-VNA
