Vietnam congratulates India on the success of the 18th Lok Sabha (lower house) election, said Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Pham Thu Hang at the ministry’s regular press conference in Hanoi on June 6.

Hanoi (VNA) - Vietnam congratulates India on the success of the 18th Lok Sabha (lower house) election, said Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Pham Thu Hang at the ministry’s regular press conference in Hanoi on June 6.

"We believe that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India will continue to grow strongly with an increasingly high role and position in the region and world," she said.

Vietnam also believes that the Vietnam-India comprehensive strategic partnership will continue to develop in an effective and intensive manner for the interests of the two peoples, as well as for peace and prosperity in the region and the world, she stated./.
