A delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) attended the 8th Congress of the Communist Party of Peru-Red Fatherland (PCdeIP) in Lima from Feb. 4-7.
The delegation, headed by Deputy Director of the CPV Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations, Nguyen Manh Hung, conveyed a message of greeting from the CPV Central Committee to the Congress. Its meetings with the Politburo members of the PCdeIP and the participants at the Congress focused on the national renewal cause and socialist achievements in Vietnam .
PCdeIP President Alberto Moreno Rojas praised the role and position of the CPV in the international communist movement and its great achievements of historical significance in national renewal, describing them as revival power of socialism and an example for PCdeIP to follow.
The PCdeIP president affirmed their wish to further boost relations with Vietnam./.
