Vietnam has gained second place with three gold, six silver and three bronze medals at the World Wushu Championships 2013.
The 12th World Wushu Championships was held in Kuala Lumpur from October 28 to November 6, 2013.
In the men's dao (saber) category, Tran Xuan Hiep pocketed the first gold after beating Seungjae Cho of the Republic of Korea (RoK) with 9.68 points.
In the women's qiang (spear) division, Duong Thuy Vi won another gold medal with 9.6 2 points. She also brought home a silver medal in jian (sword) and a bronze in changquan (long fist) categories.
The third gold went to Nguyen Thi Chinh after defeating Sanathoi Devi of India 2-0 in the final match of the 48kg women's sanshou event.
