Vietnamese players win mixed doubles title at Li-Ning Vietnam International Series 2024

Vietnamese duo Tran Dinh Manh and Pham Thi Khanh claimed the mixed doubles championship at the Li-Ning Vietnam International Series 2024 after defeating Bo Yuan Chen and Liang Ching Sun from Chinese Taipei in the final held at Bac Giang province's gymnasium on November 17.

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnamese duo Tran Dinh Manh and Pham Thi Khanh claimed the mixed doubles championship at the Li-Ning Vietnam International Series 2024 after defeating Bo Yuan Chen and Liang Ching Sun from Chinese Taipei in the final held at Bac Giang province's gymnasium on November 17.

The Vietnamese pair delivered an excellent performance, winning two straight sets with the scores of 21-19 and 21-13.

In the men’s doubles event, Vietnam's third-seeded duo, Nguyen Dinh Hoang and Tran Dinh Manh, secured the runner-up position. Despite their valiant efforts, they narrowly lost to the top-seeded pair, Zhi Wei He and Huang Jui Hsuan also from Chinese Taipei, with the scores of 20-22 and 19-21.

The tournament, held from November 12 to 17, is part of the Badminton World Federation (BWF) system and was regarded as a prestigious international event. It featured 197 athletes from 20 countries and territories who competed in five categories: men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles./.
