Vietnam fishermen save drowning Chinese

Two Chinese citizens have been recently rescued by Vietnamese fishermen while floating at sea after their vessel Cui Fong 21558 broke down, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release on February 20.

The vessel was brought ashore for repairs at Ha Long City in the northeastern coastal province of Quang Ninh.

TheChinese Embassy in Hanoi was informed of the situation on February 17and the two Chinese citizens returned to China on February 19.

Chinaexpressed appreciation for the efforts of Vietnam’s Foreign AffairsMinistry and relevant Vietnamese agencies for having rescued thefishermen and the vessel and arranged for them to return home.-VNA

FLC appeal hearing postponed, giving more time for compensation
