Vietnam, France to cooperate on nuclear energy

The Prime Minister has approved a cooperation agreement between Vietnam and France on the development and use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes.

The agreement was signed between the two governments in Hanoi on Nov. 12, 2009.

The Ministry of Science and Technology has been assigned to takeresponsibility for providing guidelines for the implementation of theagreement after its ratification./.
