“Vietnam Glory” honours outstanding individuals, teams

The eighth “Vietnam Glory” programme was held in Hanoi on August 15, honouring 20 outstanding individuals and organisations for their contributions to national emulation campaign and country’s construction and defence cause.

Addressing the function, Deputy PrimeMinister Nguyen Sinh Hung praised the winners for their achievementsand stressed that they epitomise Vietnam ’s strength.

The event was co-organised by Labour (Lao Dong) newspaper, Radio theVoice of Vietnam, Vietnam Television and the A Chau company.

This is part of activities to mark the 65th year of the AugustRevolution (August 19) and the National Independence Day (September 2),and the 1,000th anniverary of Thang Long- Hanoi./.

Khanh Hoa tightens control of fishing vessels at sea ports

As many as 99.7% of Khanh Hoa's fishing vessels over 15 metres in length – 631 out of 633 – have now been equipped with VMS devices. Furthermore, the electronic catch documentation and traceability (eCDT) system is being effectively implemented across the Hon Ro, Vinh Luong, Da Bac, and Dai Lanh ports, significantly enhancing transparency and traceability in the seafood supply chain.

Vietnam News Agency steps up cooperation with Kazakhstani, Azerbaijani media partners

The signing of the cooperation agreements took place within the framework of Party General Secretary To Lam's state visits to Kazakhstan (May 5-7) and Azerbaijan (May 7-8). Defence Ministry hands over 100 houses to disadvantaged families in Ben Tre

The houses were built for poor, near-poor, and policy beneficiary families in urgent need of housing in the districts of Mo Cay Bac and Giong Trom, Ben Tre province.
