The Vietnamese Government has decided to provide its Laos counterpart non-refundable assistance worth over 14 billion VND (658,000 USD) to upgrade the Kaysone Phomvihane Museum in Vientiane.
A signing ceremony to hand over the master plan of the project to the Lao side was held in Phnom Penh on March 24.
The project, which includes 18 items, aims to help synchronise infrastructure and facilities in the museum, thereby bettering the preservation of artefacts here.
The Kaysone Phomvihane Museum is ones of Laos ’ leading revolutionary museums, which displays and stores many documents on the life and political career of late President Kaysone Phomvihane - who contributed much to establishing and nurturing the special relations between Vietnam and Laos.
Vietnam ’s Ho Chi Minh City Museum will be an investor of the project.-VNA
