Hanoi (VNA) - The21st Vietnam International Agricultural Trade Fair, AgroViet Online 2021, kickedoff on December 9.

The fair, entitled “Connectingthe value of Vietnamese agricultural products - Towards a sustainableagriculture", aims at creating an onlineplatform for trade promotion activities in the field of agriculture and rural development.

The fair is designed to allow provinces and cities across the country to introduce theirpotentials and capabilities in agriculture as well as attractinvestment in the sector's development.

Featuring 50 virtual booths, the fair displays agriculturalproducts representing each region, along with those of the One Commune One Product programme.

Dao Van Ho, Director of theCentre for Trade Promotion under the Ministry of Agriculture and RuralDevelopment said with a friendly interface and 3D platform, it’s easy forvisitors to find information and interact with businesses through onlinetools.

He said AgroViet Online2021 is an opportunity for businesses to promote their brands and connect with potential customers and partners.

The event at 3d.agroviet.com.vn runs untilDecember 13. The online platform will keep running until January 9, 2022 to facilitate transactions of enterprises./.

Vietnam, Bangladesh eye to foster economic ties

Addressing the forum, Vietnamese Ambassador to Bangladesh Nguyen Manh Cuong highlighted the fruitful development of the bilateral ties over the past 53 years, noting that trade turnover has consistently exceeded 1.1 billion USD despite global disruptions. The two sides are now striving to raise the figure to 2 billion USD in the coming years.

Hanoi strengthens oversight of transition to E10 biofuel
