Rector of Hanoi Medical University, Associate Professor Nguyen Duc Hinh has paid a working visit to France to explore the country’s university-hospital centre model.
While in France, Associate Professor Hinh and his entourage visited three university hospital centres in Rouen, Strasbourg and Bordeaux cities which are well known for patient care, teaching and scientific research.
The delegation was briefed on France’s medical system, a project on surgery without hospitalisation, and university hospital management and reform.
They were introduced to an automatic patient care and management system and surgery conducted under a robot system which is expected to be applied in Vietnam soon.
According to Prof. Nguyen Lan Viet, who is also Director of Vietnam Heart Institute and Head of Hanoi Medical University’s heart faculty, said that France is now home to almost 30 centres which are suitable models for cooperation with Vietnam./.
