The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) and more than 10 Vietnamese travel and entertainment companies are showcasing their products and services at the on-going 20th Moscow International Travel and Tourism Exhibition (MITT) in Russia.
The exhibition, which opened on March 20, has drawn the participation of more than 1,000 travel agencies, hotel and restaurant service providers and airlines from all over the world.
During the four-day event, visitors have a chance to study countries’ diverse tourism services ranging from convalescence and eco-tourism to fishing, mountain climbing and adventure tours.
Vietnam ’s booths feature the hidden charms of the country and people as well as introduce the country’s tourist attractions, food and services to international friends.
On the occasion, the national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines announced that the first fight on the Nha Trang-Moscow direct route will take off on April 5, facilitating the travel of Russian tourists to Vietnam . This is expected to help realise Vietnam ’s target of greeting 250,000 Russian visitors in 2013 and 300,000 in 2014.
As one of the top five tourism fair in the world, the MITT is an ideal venue for countries through the world to introduce their tourism potential, seek partners and attract visitors.-VNA
