Vietnam, Laos boost ties in museum work

Vietnam and Laos have committed to continue their exchange of experience in preservation and museum work as well as the refurbishment of historical sites paying tribute to Party and State leaders.

An agreement to this effect was inked in Vientiane on July 26 by Dr. Singthong Singhapanya, Deputy Head of Kaysone Phomvihane Museum ’s Management Board, and Do Hoang Linh, Deputy Director of the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site, who is on a working visit to Laos from July 21-27.

Between now and 2012, concerned agencies of Vietnam and Laos will exchange relevant documents, research outcomes and publications.

They also agreed to work together on the construction of the Ho Chi Minh commemoration site in Laos. /.
