State President Luong Cuong described the inauguration wharf No.3 at Vung Ang port in the central province of Ha Tinh as a significant political and diplomatic milestone, demonstrating the two countries’ determination to strengthen connectivity and promote their development cooperation.

The Lao National Assembly building, a gift from the Vietnamese Party, State and people to the Lao sides, is billed as a symbol of the great friendship between the two nations.

A ceremony to rebury the remains of 18 Vietnamese voluntary soldiers and experts who lost their lives during wartime in Laos took place in Dong Tam international martyrs’ cemetery, the central province of Thanh Hoa on May 14.

Among foreigners who set up altars to worship Vietnamese great leader President Ho Chi Minh, there is a special person, Prince Souphanouvong, the late President of Laos.

A photo exhibition featuring the traditional friendship and special solidarity between Vietnam and Laos opened in Hanoi on July 18.
