from October 19-24 to study the host country’s best practices and
experience in public debt management.
During the
trip, funded by the World Bank, Trung and his entourage attended working
sessions with officials from Mexico’s Ministry of Finance and Public
Credit, and the Central Bank. They also visited the Financial Department
of Guanajuato, the locality leading in public debt management.
The Vietnamese officials were briefed on the current public debt
situation in Mexico and the role of the Central Bank in managing the
debt.
They talked with Mexican officials about management measures and forecasts on public debt development and control tools.-VNA
