Vietnam Motor Show 2024 arrives in HCM City next month

The Vietnam Motor Show 2024 will take place in Ho Chi Minh City from October 23-27, featuring green energy initiatives, organisers announced at a press conference on September 26.

HCM City (VNA) – The Vietnam Motor Show 2024 will take place in Ho Chi Minh City from October 23-27, featuring green energy initiatives, organisers announced at a press conference on September 26.

Organised by the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA), the Vehicle Importers Vietnam Association (VIVA), and the Vietnam Association of Motorcycle Manufacturers (VAMM), the exhibition will showcase the latest automotive products, as well as an informative seminar titled “Electrifying Transportation Towards Green Energy Transition”.

According to the organisers, the seminar will focus on two main topics – “Proper Use of Euro 5 Fuel” and “Electrified Vehicles: Hybrid Technology”.

Experts will offer diverse perspectives on trends and the potential development of electric vehicle models. They will also share solutions for green and clean energy to reduce emissions, aiming to promote sustainable growth in the automotive industry. This seminar is one of the key highlights of this year's show.

The event will feature 19 renowned automobile and motorcycle brands, along with over 50 supporting industry brands. Notable brands include GAC, Isuzu, Mitsubishi, Honda, Skoda, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota, MG, BYD, GAZ, SYM, Yamaha Motor, UM, Harley-Davidson, Triumph, KTM and Husqvarna.

Each brand will display outstanding models equipped with modern technology, particularly the latest electric and hybrid vehicles. Another prominent feature of the show is that visitors can take part in various interaction activities including test-driving.

Chairman of VAMA Nakano Keita said that Vietnam's automotive industry is currently experiencing robust development and has plenty of potential, especially thanks to the shift towards electric and hybrid vehicles.

He said that visitors to the Vietnam Motor Show 2024 will witness a range of models from fuel-efficient cars to versatile vehicles, offering diverse pricing and services to meet consumer demand./.
