National Assembly Vice Chairwoman Tong Thi Phong and New Zealand Ambassador to Vietnam Haike Manning discussed joint preparations for the 40th anniversary celebration of diplomatic ties between the two countries during a meeting in Hanoi on September 11.
In order for the event to be successful, preparations would need to be carefully coordinated, including between the two law-making bodies, they agreed.
