A working group to review the progress of the UN Convention on Corruption met in Hanoi on August 5 to discuss tasks set for the period between now and 2011.
Vietnam ’s implementation of the convention will be reviewed in 2011, according to a decision made in Austria in July. The review will begin in June 2011 and will last for a maximum of six months.
At the meeting, the participants discussed the working group’s programme. They agreed on the need for ministries, agencies and the Government’s Inspectorate to work closer together to implement the Convention./.
