Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam recorded 4,411 cases of COVID-19 onOctober 27, including seven imported cases, according to the Ministry ofHealth.

Ho Chi Minh City still recorded the highest number of infections with 1,140,followed by neighbouring Binh Duong province with 521 and Dong Naiprovince with 499. The capital city of Hanoi recorded 26 cases in thepast 24 hours.

The national tally now stands at 900,585.

According to the Ministry of Health’s report, 2,718 patientsnationwide are in serious conditions, with 344 requiring invasiveventilation and 20 on life support (ECMO).

On the day, the country saw 54 deaths from thedisease. The death toll now hits 21,856.

A further 2,024 patients were given the all-clear,taking the total number of recoveries to 812,314.

By October 26, the country had injected over 75.97million doses of vaccines, with more than 22.23 million people nowfully inoculated./.
