He made the statement during a meeting with Alexander Vasilyevich Fomin, Head of the Russian Federal Agency for Technical Military Cooperation, held in Hanoi on April 6.
For his part, Fomin expressed his hope that defence cooperation between the two countries will continue to be strengthened, especially in defence industry and technology transfer.
He also highlighted the need to step up cooperation in information and telecommunications.-VNA
