Hanoi (VNA) – A delegation of Russia’s leading universitiesrecently held working sessions with representatives from several Vietnameseuniversities and high schools and the Vietnamese Ministry of Education andTraining’s International Cooperation Agency to discuss boosting cooperation ineducation.

The Russianuniversities included the Higher School of Economics, the Moscow Institute ofPhysics and Technology, the Moscow Aviation Institute, the Ural FederationUniversity, the Tula State University and the National Research University ofElectronic Technology.

The workingsessions were part of the 10th stage of a long-term educationproject called “Russian Universities” implemented by the Russian Centre ofScience and Culture in Hanoi.

NataliaShafinskaya, director of the centre, said the project is part of efforts torealise agreements between the two countries, while contributing tostrengthening education affiliation as part of Vietnam-Russia comprehensivestrategic partnership.

Representativesfrom Russian universities also participated in an exhibition to introduce thecountry’s education to Vietnamese students. The exhibition is taking place atthe Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Hanoi from September 17-21.-VNA

Vietnam’s digital map updates 34 provincial-level administrative units

An 1:1,000,000-scale administrative map of Vietnam online and in digital *.pdf format will be released once the National Assembly’s Resolution on the reorganisation of provincial-level administrative units in 2025 takes effect in oder to promptly support the Prime Minister’s direction and administration, support state management by ministries, sectors, and localities; and meet requirements of organisations and individuals.
