Strozaeva Lubov Viktorovna, who isleading a Russian delegation on a visit to Vietnam from April 21-26,made the statement at a press conference at the Russian Centre ofScience and Culture in Hanoi .

Viktorovna, who isalso Director of the “portrait of technological innovation in Russia” project, emphasised the prospect for cooperation in technologybetween the two countries.

According to Pankov DmitriVladimirovich, editor-in-chief of The portrait of technologicalinnovation in Russia, the project aims to provide information andsupport the development of business cooperation Vietnam and Russiain advanced technology, apply the best technology practice inVietnamese factories, and expand integration and cooperation amongbusiness circles involved in technology reform.

The Russiandelegation is scheduled to have working sessions with representatives ofthe National Assembly, the ministries of Industry and Trade,Agriculture and Rural Development, and Construction, and the VietnamUnion of Science and Technology Associations.-VNA

The network currently brings together nearly 100 scientists and experts working at key institutions in this sector such as the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), EDF, Framatome, ANDRA, CEA, and many other leading organisations. They have directly participated in the design and construction of numerous EPR nuclear power plants, including Olkiluoto 3 (Finland), Flamanville 3 (France), and Taishan 1&2 (China).
