Hanoi (VNA) –
General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President Nguyen Phu Trong on November 28 sent congratulatory messages in response to the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.

The messages, affirming the support and  solidarity with the Palestinian people, were sent to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Chair of the UN Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People Cheikh Niang.

The International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People is observed by the United Nations on November 29 each year. It traditionally provides an opportunity for the international community to focus its attention on the fact that the question of Palestine remains unresolved and that the Palestinian people have yet to attain their inalienable rights.–VNA
