Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, Lt. Gen. Vo Van Tuan, and Chief of the Staff of the Sri Lanka Army, Daya Rathnayake, made the statement in Hanoi on November 20.
Both sides reviewed the fine tradition between the two armies, describing it as a foundation to enhance bilateral cooperation in the current situation.
They said the two armies need to increase the exchange of delegations and learn, in more detail, the strengths of each side.
