The national news agencies of Vietnam and Sudan will exchange information, photos and television programmes to serve the public of each country.
They will also expand cooperation at international forums and organise visits for professional exchange between leaders, reporters and editors of both news agencies.
An agreement to this effect was signed between Vietnam News Agency (VNA) General Director Tran Mai Huong and Sudanese Ambassador to Vietnam Adil Ibrahim Mustafa Ahmed, on behalf of the Sudan News Agency (SUNA).
Both signatories expressed their belief that the agreement reached between the two news agencies would open a new channel to consolidate friendship and mutual understanding between Vietnam and Sudan.
The document was expected to boost cooperation between the two nations, especially in politics, economics, trade and culture./.
