Hanoi (VNA) – “Vietnam’s consistent viewpoint is supporting the settlement of all disagreements about the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK)’s nuclear issue through dialogue,” Foreign Ministry Spokesman Le Hai Binh said.
He made the remark on June 24 in response to reporters’ question about two tests of mid-range Musudan missile by the DPRK on June 22.
He stressed Vietnam is deeply concerned about the test launches, adding that they “violated relevant resolutions of the United Nations Security Council and increased tension in the region.”
Vietnam advocates efforts in maintaining peace, stability and development in the Korean peninsula, as well as in the region and the world. It also supports the serious implementation of relevant resolutions of the UN Security Council, the spokesman added.VNA
