Vietnam to attend Seoul int’l harmonica fest

Five members of the Vietnam Harmonica Orchestra will set off for the Seoul International Harmonica Festival in the Republic of Korea (RoK) on July 29.
Five members of the Vietnam Harmonica Orchestra will set off for theSeoul International Harmonica Festival in the Republic of Korea (RoK) onJuly 29.

This is the first time that a Vietnamese harmonica troupe has attended an international harmonica event.

The annual festival in the RoK, the third of its kind, is beinghosted by the Korea Harmonica Education Association to fosterinternational exchange among world-class artists.

Vietnamese artists will perform traditional pieces of music such as “Bayden hoa binh” (Fly for peace) in the concert category, “Trong com”(Rice drum) in the trio category and “Chim K’Tia” (K’Tia bird) in thesolo category.-VNA

Top 10 finalists for 7th De Men Awards for Children 2026 announced

Founded and organised annually since 2020 by the Vietnam News Agency’s The thao và Van hoa (Sports & Culture) newspaper, the De Men (Cricket) Awards for Children honour outstanding artistic and literary works either “by children” or “for children.” The awards include a grand prize called the Cricket Knight Award, and several Cricket Desire Awards of equal standing.

Da Nang Food Tour Festival 2026 scheduled for May 20-24
