She held a reception for Yang Xiaodu - DeputySecretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee’s Commissionfor Discipline Inspection.

The Vice Presidentvalued the outcomes of the talks between the Chinese delegation and theCommunist Party of Vietnam Central Committee’s Commission for Inspectionand the Government Inspectorate. She also spoke highly of China’srecent socio-economic achievements, voicing her belief that the countrywill fulfill its integration and development goals.

Lauding China’s success in corruption prevention, Doan stressed that theVietnamese Party and State consider corruption combat is of utmostimportance.

She also applauded the cooperation andexpertise sharing between the Chinese commission with the Vietnamesecommission and inspectorate.

At the meeting, Yang hailed Vietnam’s reform progress and briefed the host on the outcomes of his working visit.

He emphasised that China attaches special importance to corruptionprevention and has stepped up this work, and is willing to enhancecooperation and experience sharing in the fight against corruption.

Hanoi, Vientiane promote comprehensive cooperation in new phase

The capitals of Vietnam and Laos signed memoranda of understanding on joint work in the fields of public communication and mass mobilisation, women and youth affairs, foreign relations, industry and trade, education and health care.
