Vietnam to promote products at Malaysia’s food, drink trade fair

From July 2-4, the Ministry of Plantation and Commodities of Malaysia cooperated with the Malaysia Convention and Exhibition Bureau will organise the Food and Drink Malaysia (FDM) at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre.

With the theme of “Inspire Food Business,” this year’s event will not only inspire creative ideas but also actively promote innovation and collaboration in the food industry.

The exhibition will feature around 1,000 Malaysian and international pavilions, offering various kinds of products such as Halal food and beverages, seafood and aquaculture.

Participating countries will include Vietnam, China, the Republic of Korea, Thailand, Japan, Turkey, India, France, the Philippines, Russia and several Central Asian countries.

At the Vietnamese booths, the Vietnam Trade Office in Malaysia and several Vietnamese companies plan to showcase five booths featuring a diverse range of Vietnamese products, such as dried fruits, durian and honey-flavored tea and coffee, cashew nuts, and canned beverages.

The trade fair, the second of its kind, is one of the important events of the Malaysian and regional food industry. It aims to foster innovation and creativity by showcasing the latest trends and market insights./.
