Vietnam will work harder together with Russia to reinforce the two countries’ multifaceted cooperation, including in energy, said Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung during his meeting with Alexander V. Dyukov, CEO of Russian oil and gas group Gazprom Neft, in Hanoi on November 11.
The PM voiced his pleasure at the fine outcomes of cooperation between Gazprom Neft and the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) in the past time.
He stressed that Vietnam highly values the upcoming visit to the country of Russian President Putin, deeming it a landmark that will raise bilateral comprehensive strategic partnership.
PM Dung affirmed the Vietnamese Government’s support for cooperation activities between Russian oil and gas enterprises, including Gazprom Neft, with PetroVietnam for both sides’ mutual interests and bolstered multifaceted ties.
