Vietnam’s national men’s football team have held onto the No 1 spot in the Southeast Asian region in September, according to the latest International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) ranking.

– Vietnam’snational men’s football team have held onto the No 1 spot in the SoutheastAsian region in September, according to the latest International Federation ofFootball Associations (FIFA) ranking released on September 20.

Vietnam is now No 102 in the worldand No 17 in Asia.

It is followed by the Philippines(world No 144), Thailand (No 122), Myanmar (No 138) and Indonesia (No 164).

In Asia, Iran take the lead withposition No 33 in the world (down 1 place), followed by Australia (No 43) andJapan (No 54).

Both Belgium and France top theworld rankings. Brazil, Croatia and Uruguay are the runners-up.- VNA
