Vietnam, UK celebrate 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties
Vietnam and the UK officially established diplomatic relations on September 11, 1973. Over the course of the past 50 years, the relationship has been continually strengthened and developed, especially after the two countries upgraded relations to a Strategic Partnership in September 2010.
The strategic partnership between Vietnam and the UK has been deepened further in various fields since the two countries established diplomatic relations in 1973.
President Vo Van Thuong is in London at the invitation of the Royal Family of the UK to attend the coronation of King Charles III. During his stay, the State leader had a number of activities.
The Ladies of All Nations International UK-Vietnam recently held a ceremony to honor individuals and organizations for their contributions to the community. This is one among activities celebrating the coronation of King Charles III and the 50th anniversary of Vietnam-UK diplomatic ties.
