An agreement on visa exemption for diplomatic passport holders between the governments of Vietnam and Uzbekistan will take effect on June 4, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Consular Department has announced.
Under the agreement, inked in Uzbekistan’s capital city of Tashkent on April 5, citizens holding valid diplomatic passports from one of the two countries needing entry, exit and transit in the other’s territory will be exempt from visas and are allowed to stay in each country within 60 days./.
